SHIPPING & RETURNS
The Joinery ships our products locally in South Africa and globally around the world. We package all our purchases to you with great care and despatch them in the fastest possible time frame.
Local Shipping
Delivery within South Africa is a flat rate of R99, getting your package directly to you.
We offer FREE shipping for orders over R600 within South Africa.
International Shipping
International orders may be liable to customs and duty charges on entry into your country (rates are dependant on your country). This is completely out of our control and remains the responsibility of the customer. You will be contacted directly by the courier company should any fees be applicable and your order will only be delivered to you once the fees are paid. You will never be charged for shipping directly from the courier company.
Delivery
Delivery processing can take 1-2 business days. We do not process orders on weekends or holidays.
Please allow 7-14 working days for despatch of products that are made to order.
All items are shipped from South Africa by courier.
EMS, DHL or Fedex
Delivery by courier offers a tracking number. Delivery is generally three to five working days in South Africa provided that the product is in stock.
All International orders ship via registered mail or courier and are expected to arrive within 7-14 days, orders include tracking information. Customs and import duties are levied by the receiving country and are therefore the buyer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure their postal/shipping address is correct.

The Joinery Returns Policy
RETURNS + REFUNDS
The Joinery takes great care in ensuring that the products we send out are of the highest quality. Please note that all of our products are handmade and as such, slight variations and inconsistencies can occur. Due to the nature of our fabric being recycled, there are variations in colour and shade. Our leather products also can have natural imperfections inherent in the substrate.
If you are not entirely happy with your Joinery product, within 7 days, we will offer you a full cash refund, a replacement or online store credit. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with the swing ticket attached to be eligible for a return.
Please note that refunds are only given for the cost of the product and not for the courier fee. The cost to return the product to The Joinery is at your own expense. We will only be able to refund you once we have received the product in good order. Please allow 7 working days for us to process your refund.
For International orders we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or exchanges due to customs duties applicable on the returned products.
We have a 15 day policy, if 15 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund, exchange or credit.
The Joinery will not be held liable for any post that goes missing or was damaged in transit.

DAMAGED ITEMS
The Joinery takes great care in sending out our products and each item is very thoroughly quality checked before being despatched. In the unlikely event of a product you receive being damaged, we will replace it or refund it at no charge to you.
